BANDWIDTH USEAGE

 

 "Always On"  means the ability to achieve service to the web in an unlimited and always available connection, in no way or implication does PDQ, LLC, guarantee or offer to deliver for the residential or business connections an unlimited amount of data transfer for a basic monthly price. Bandwidth is metered as is Gasoline, Electricity and Water - therefore should be conserved as such.

ALL RESIDENTIAL AND BASIC BUSINESS USERS MUST ENSURE THAT THEIR ACTIVITIES DO NOT RESRICT, INHIBIT OR DEGRADE ANY OTHER CLIENT OF PDQ, LLC, NOR BURDEN THE NETWORK OF PDQ, LLC.  THIS IS A CALL AT OUR SOLE DISCRETION.

ACCEPTABLE BANDWIDTH USEAGE

 Residential & Basic Business 

The transfer of data, pictures and or music in the amount of  5 Gigabytes  for residential or 10 Gigabytes for business per month.(This limit includes both the upload and download total)

Anyone exceeding the limit will (can) be charged $5.00 per Gigabyte or any portion over a Gigabyte. If you did not receive an agreement in writing with a specific apportionment of bandwidth , then the above limits apply.

EXAMPLES

Approximately 200 songs downloaded in the Mp3 format

1.5 CD's of music downloaded in the .cda format (approx 30 songs!)

General Surfing of the web for 19 hours a day for 30 days

Downloading at ( 512K ) for approx 5 hours is equale to about 5 Gig. 

Downloading at ( 2 Meg ) for approx 1.5 hours is equal to about 10 Gig. 

A movie in DVD FORMAT is about 4.7 Gigabytes 

Remember that downloading of copyrighted material is ILLEGAL and is punishable by law in all 50 States by fines and/or imprisonment

 We are here to supply ALL your bandwidth needs. If your usage is higher it may be prudent to move up to a higher level of service. Please contact sales at PDQX.net if this is the case.

Note: Peer to peer music sharing programs could use your bandwidth allotment for the month in a single day. These programs will continue to upload from your computer 24/7 if you leave it running.

When left unattended, it is possible to use as much as 14 Gigabytes.
